According to the relevant regulations ("Regulations for Administration of Commercial Franchising"), franchising refers to activities wherein an enterprise ("franchisor"), by entering into contractual relatoinship, licenses its operational resources, including registered trademarks, logos, patents, or proprietary technology, to other business operators ("franchisee") for use, so that the franchisee may conduct business operation according to a unified business model as required by the agreements and pays franchising fees to the franchisor.
